GFWC FLORIDA DISTRICT 12
GFWC Florida District 12 meetings are held quarterly and are open to all GFWC members. District clubs meet to communicate issues, opportunities, and successes. It is a friendly, fun way to get to know our district club sisters and share ideas on living the volunteer spirit.

After Hurrican Ian, our GFWC Friends sent money, gift cards and a huge truck full of supplies to help with our recovery effort. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved.
We were “Putting on the Ritz” at the Spring 2023 GFWC Convention in Orlando. Congrats to District Director Kathryn Gallagher for being named District Director of the Year!
Living The Volunteer Spirit
The Bonita-Estero Woman's Club (BEWC), very recently federated in the General Federation of Women's Clubs, made a gift of $40,000 in June to Fort Myers based non-profit organization, Reflective Spaces Ministry, Corp for the purchase of their first "Tiny House". The Tiny House will provide shelter for women in crisis who wish to heal and start a new life. But wait, that's not all, the BEWC members who call Toledo, Ohio their home in the summer months, planned a "Soiree for a Tiny House" at the home of Jalna and Ken MacLaren. They raised an additional $24,000 for a second house. Both tiny houses will be placed on the property owned by Reflective Spaces Ministry, Corp. Inc.
The BEWC is proud of its sizable donation totaling $64,000 and to the generosity of the BEWC members and their friends who made this possible.
